Politeness is an important element associated with Lila, her family, and most importantly about being a lady.
In the book, Lila is reminded about being a lady, manners, education, appropriate attire, self control, and politeness. All these elements are key to bringing up girls and Lila :)
The author hopes that Mothers, Grandmothers, and families understand these values as they read this book to their daughters, granddaughters, and children or approve the book for their readings.
